Response to the response

This is why it’s hard to be a scientist. I've read the many required textbooks classes and nothing that I have read in any of my chemistry classes can ever apply to my past self. Nothing. Regardless several titles I could have checked out earlier:

On the Genealogy of Morality by Nietzsche and Dostoevsky's Notes from the Underground (books)

- Helps understand and enjoy the weird things in life, just for the sake of being weird.

The Watchmen - Alan Moore (graphic novel)

- I don't know if my younger old self would appreciate the story, but it is the best comic book series I've ever read.

"Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television" - George Carlin (album)

- Classic comedy album that is still relevant today. "Those [words] are the ones that'll infect your soul, curve your spine and keep the country from winning the war."

  1. Boots, I read a book over my trip to Mexico that I think you might like. It's called "The Rebel Sell," and basically the author uses completely accessible language, philosophy, and contemporary examples to explain how the counterculture movement is harming the political left.

    I think you'd like it!
